Venue Description
Scone Palace is one of Scotland's favourite visitor attractions situated 3 miles north of Perth on the A93. Visitors can immerse themselves in Scotland's history and experience the crowning place of Scottish kings. See Moot Hill, where the kings of Scots were inaugurated, and later crowned on the famous Stone of Scone.
Accessibility
Scone Palace offers disabled parking on the same level as the entrance. Disabled access to the Palace is via the gift shop as the main entrance is not suitable due to the steps at the front door. Once in the gift shop, you will find a stair lift which takes you up to the state rooms. Once on this level, all the rooms are accessible. We have 3 manual wheelchairs available for our visitors to use during their visit. Please note we do not permit motorised wheelchairs or mobility scooters inside the Palace state rooms. Toilets, food shop and coffee shop are all on the lower level which can be accessed via the side entrance.
