Venue Description

The Royal Lyceum Theatre Company is one of Scotland’s leading producing drama companies with a world class reputation for both classical and contemporary work, and for developing and supporting creative talent.

Our beautiful late Victorian theatre sits in the heart of Edinburgh’s artistic and cultural quarter. We rehearse in our own rooms opposite the theatre, and costumes and sets are designed and built at our workshops in Roseburn.

For all productions in our season we have Touch Tours, Audio Described, BSL Interpreted and Captioned performances.

Level access Doors wide enough (but very heavy) Platform lift to Howard Bar Standard lift to all floors Hearing enhancement is available, our system transmits on an FM radio frequency, so a pendant receiver and headphones will be required for anyone whose hearing aid cannot pick up an FM radio signal directly, and these are available from the Shop in the main foyer. Spacious accessible toilet located on the ground floor. Wide door and step free access. Grab rails, raised toilet seat, easy turn taps, RADAR lock on door. Emergency alarmed pull-cord. Baby change facilities.
