The RNLI Grace Darling Museum is dedicated to the story of Grace and William Darling’s rescue of nine survivors from the wreck of the SS Forfarshire. The museum has level access and is spread over two floors, with a disabled access lift between the two. The main displays are on the ground floor with a viewing window and Lantern Room on the upper level. All videos have audio as well as subtitles. There is always a member of staff or volunteer on hand if you need any support or require more information.
