Venue Description

Riverhouse is a community Arts Centre in Walton on Thames with an extensive and varied programme of events. Folk, jazz and classical music; Theatre; Art exhibitions; Drama and Arts and Crafts classes. There is also an on site cafe.

Accessibility

Step free access with wide doors. The Theatre, Cafe, Learning Studio and Toilets are accessible, step free, on the ground floor. Access to the Gallery is via a platform lift.

Accessible Performances

From time to time. We have an Art Exhibition scheduled for 12-28 February of tactile portraits each with its own audio description. Of particular interest to visually impaired visitors and also perhaps for autistic visitors.

The main toilets are on the ground floor accessible with step free access.

There is a park adjacent to Riverhouse (Riverhouse Gardens) where dogs can be exercised off the lead.

There is always a water bowl available for dogs. The venue is very dog friendly.
