Venue Description

The Ritzy is a 100 year-old multiscreen cinema, arts venue and bar located in the heart of Brixton. Owned by Picturehouse Cinema, it hosts a diverse programme of films ranging from world and arthouse cinema to the latest Hollywood blockbusters. The venue has a kitchen, two bars and an events venue, Upstairs at the Ritzy, which hosts daily events in music, film, dance and visual arts.

Toilets

Customer toilets are located on both the ground floor and the first floor. An adapted toilet for wheelchair users is located on the ground floor on the main corridor to the screens. There is an emergency call-point in this toilet should a user need to summon assistance.

Staff

Staff are trained to admit disabled visitors to the screens, though a carer must be present throughout the screening. Carers received a cinema ticket free of charge.
