Accessibility
Access to the garden is via wide automatic doors and a compliant ramp or steps takes the visitor into the garden itself. There is a network of paths around the garden mostly tarmac with a slight gravel covering. Electric mobility vehicles can be hired for the duration of the visit or manual wheelchairs are also available - booking recommended. Complimentary maps are available showing the suggested routes for both mobility vehicles and push wheelchairs. Due to the garden sitting in a natural valley some paths are steep and not suitable for wheelchair access. Shop and restaurant fully accessible

Toilets
Accessible toilet is located in the main garden entrance with wide doors, grab rail and fitted alarm system. Additional ambulant toilets are located in the garden, the shop and restaurant.
Staff
The Visitor Services staff have been trained in Disability Awareness and Inclusion for all. The staff are very experienced in assisting disabled visitors with inquiries, tickets and also mobility vehicle inductions if required.

There is a suitable dog walking area adjacent to the garden called Pinewoods where dogs can be exercised off the lead.
