Venue Description

Whitby, North Yorkshire, is home to Raithwaite Estate, a grand coastal retreat comprised of two hotels, a collection of quaint private stone cottages, an ultra-exclusive Lake House and a tranquil spa. Covering around 100 acres, there is a range of buildings on the Estate including: The Hall; which is home to 45 bedrooms, The Keep, an exquisite 28 bedroom hotel; The Lake House, an ultra exclusive and luxurious 6 bedroom private house; and The Fold, a collection of 8 carefully designed stone built cottages.

Accessibility

The entrance to the Hall hotel can be accessed via a flat pavement which runs alongside the hotel. The entrance to the Keep hotel is easily accessible from the designated car park, this is also flat. A concierge will be on hand to open hotel entrance doors. Both hotels have lifts which take you to the hotel bedrooms, restaurants and spa. The restaurants can easily accommodate wheelchair users who wish to dine with us. Both hotels offer accessible friendly bathroom facilities in the public areas. We offer bedrooms in each hotel which can accommodate wheelchair users and guests who require accessible facilities. Please speak to a member of our friendly team if you are thinking of staying with us so we can ensure we allocate you the most comfortable bedroom. The pool is accessed via steps into the water and offers a hand rail.
