Venue Description
The Museum is an award winning, volunteer run, visitor attraction that offers a fascinating and informative day out for the family. Housed entirely in RAF buildings including the original hardened Grade 2 * listed 1942 radar operations building, the Museum provided a unique window into the history of rada covering the period of WWII to the Cold War. The Museum has 24 exihibition rooms and over 10,000 display items. Knowledgeable ex-RAF volunteers bring history to life giving two daily presentations, telling the real stories of Air Defence at Neatishead. Our Crumbs Cafe offers delicious snacks and drinks, and on the way out you can pick up a memento of you visit in our well-stocked shop.
