Venue Description

We are an award-winning, community run, 16th century inn, at the heart of beautiful Elmley Castle. We have a great selection of local real ales and ciders and feature a wide range of pub food using locally sourced produce, plus Bessie’s our all day café offering breakfasts, cakes and pastries. We are easily accessible to all, family and dog-friendly!

Accessibility

There is step free access to the pub from the blue badge parking area at the rear of the pub. The front entrance has a step. All doors are wide enough for a wheelchair but are not push-button or automatic. The restaurant, lower bar and cafe are all on level access and there is a ramp available to access the upper bar which our staff are all trained to use. All steps have handrails. There is no lift.

There is a accessible toilet which is step free and the door is wide enough for manual and power wheelchairs. There are grab rails and easy turn locks and taps.

All our staff are trained to help visitors with accessibility needs, including using a ramp to access the upper bar.
