Overview
Once attached the motor to my manual chair the hill wasn’t an issue. They made accommodations to using the site with a lift in the mill, ramps, and a changing place. The mill itself was great, loved the water mill, the Apprentice House, the guide was great, and yes the cafe was good
Transport & Parking
Lots of parking for Blue Badge holders Not sure about other ways of getting there.
Access
There is a shuttle, but I used the motorised wheel added to my chair to get up and down the hill. The Apprentice House tour has an upstairs, but I was given an iPad to see that part of the tour. The mill was pretty well accessible with the lift to all floors, helpful staff, the only hiccup was if a demonstration was given other visitors tended to stand in front of me so I couldn’t get a clear view.
Toilets
The changing place was great, except the bed was at a fixed height and did not go up and down.
Staff
Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
