Overview
Superb day out for everyone – wheelchair and scooter friendly and good views from Visitor Centre terrace if your walking is limited. Good paths (see exceptions below) provide access to miles of countryside with accessible hides. Cafe and shop complete a great day out.
Transport & Parking
Blue badge parking 50 yards from visitor centre.
Access
Inside and out accessible except the short purple walk is grassy and potentially not good in winter. The red walk is fine provided you take the left fork on the way out (and back). The right half of the red walk is impassable for wheels. The red walk connects to the big blue walk which has the most hides and has a good path with some slight gradients. Ask at Centre for more advice.
Toilets
Clean and roomy disabled loo although the door opens awkwardly towards you as you approach.
Staff
Very helpful staff and volunteers who will advise on suitability of tracks dependant upon your needs.
