Venue Description
Partick Burgh Hall is a historic ‘B’ listed building, which is managed by Glasgow Life as a resource for the community. It has a range of rooms available for let and is a popular venue for meetings, classes, clubs, parties, dances and weddings.
Accessibility
There are significant accessibility limitations to parts of Partick Burgh Hall, due to the building’s design and age. There is a an access ramp at the main entrance which allows straightforward access to the Main Hall and Room 1, while Rooms 9 and 10 (at the lesser entrance) have flat level access from the street. The Mid Hall, Lesser Hall and Room 7 are sited upstairs and, although there is a lift to this level, fire safety issues mean that these rooms are unsuited to wheelchair access. Due to these limitations, Glasgow Life encourages prearrangement where possible to enable best placing of lets with regard to access issues.
