Overview
I have visited the Oxford Playhouse a few times. Booking access tickets is easy online. The team respond quickly and pleasantly to emails. For busy shows the reception area and bar area’s are busy and cramped. There are bottle necks of queues, so it’s that bit harder to get help from staff, for example it’s hard to reach the customer service desk through those waiting in the lobby, to collect a loop device/ask for help to limit standing. But once you reach staff they are super helpful and sunny. The queues go down more quickly because staff roam the lobby with check in devices, you’re not reliant on the check in people at the doors. Please contact the team by email to make sure you book accessible seats for your needs, for example the hearing aid loop sweet spot area, coverage is poor at the back of the theatre.
