The Stowfield Day Service is run by Orchard Trust as a place where anyone with additional needs can go for a few hours or a day out with their friends and family. It is a fully accessible site with a smallholding and allotment, activity park, Roundhouse, therapy centre with hydro pool and Rebound Trampoline and accessible paddock and woodland walks. It is home to friendly goats, sheep, rabbits and guinea pigs as well as chickens, ducks and Speedy the tortoise. Also on the site are a sensory room available to hire and a sensory garden. The Centre has an accessible toilet and changing room with hoist as well as a separate Changing Place. It has indoor and outdoor spaces where you can eat your picnic and good accessible car parking. There is a hydrotherapy pool available to book by the hour, Monday to Friday 10am to 7pm and a rebound trampoline available to book by the half hour in the same buildingAccessibility

Accessible Performances
We do not offer performances, unless you count watching the goats gambol about their paddock as a performance! In which case yes it is accessible!
Toilets
There is an accessible toilet with a rise and fall changing table and a ceiling hoist, it has a wide doorway and is accessed via a wide corridor from the main barn. The toilet is open during barn opening hours, 8-6 on weekdays. There are also 2 other standard toilets accessible from outside. Our Changing Place Toilet is a modular unit installed in 2023, it is located near the main car park and open 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. It is accessed with a Radar Key, the site manager holds a key if needed
Staff
The site is manned by Bianca the site manager who along with her staff team has extensive experience of working with disability . During weekdays there are also Orchard Trust clients on site with their carers as well as volunteers. Our clients are people with learning disabilities who either live with us or who visit us on a day care basis.

The site is home to farm animals, as such dogs must be kept on their leads. There is a large field along the River Wye at the bottom of our access road where dogs are walked off lead locally. This is around 2km from our site.

We can offer water bowls for dogs and a woodland area for toileting.
