Venue Description
O2 Academy Bristol has been hosting quality live shows from the brightest new acts and classic performers, and nights from the biggest club brands, since 2001 when it opened with a sell-out performance from Ocean Colour Scene. Bristol is renowned for its vibrant music scene and O2 Academy Bristol has provided plenty of memorable moments and iconic performances to support this reputation.
Accessibility
There is a designated viewing area in the main auditorium which can be accessed by steps or a level access route via a ramp, if required. Our smaller venue, O2 Academy2 Bristol, is non-accessible as it is on an upper level which is accessed by 3 sets of stairs. There are bars and merchandise stands are in accessible locations, however, the counters are not lowered so staff are on hand to assist where required.

Awards List
The venue is signed up to Attitude Is Everything's Charter of Best Practice in 2006 and hold a bronze plus certificate. More recently, the venue has become a CredAble Provider and supports the Access Card http://credability.uk.com/access-card/
Toilets
There’s an accessible toilet on the ground floor at the rear of the venue which staff are happy to guide customers to. Other toilets are available throughout the building, but have several stairs.

Staff have attended Disability Awareness training and are happy to assist as and when required and will always strive to ensure patrons have an enjoyable and stress free experience when visiting.
