Newcastle City Library is a modern award winning building in the heart of the City. Our facilities include: Extensive lending collection of fiction, non fiction and graphic novels. Books can be reserved online using our online catalogue. Alongside the library service, you will also find: Business & IP Centre Newcastle (Level 3) - intellectual property information and expert advice on a wide range of topics for entrepreneurs and inventors. Customer Services (Level 1) - access to and advice on Newcastle City Council services. Citizens Advice Newcastle (Level 4) - providing a free service which is confidential and open to anyone who lives or works in Newcastle. Connexions (Level 2)- careers information, advice and guidance for young people aged 13-19 (and up to age 25 for young people with special needs). Skills Hubs (Level 2) - a one-stop shop for support with training, careers and job advice. Your Homes Newcastle Housing Options Centre (Level 1) - if you are looking for a home you can register and search for properties online with staff on hand to help with any queries.

Automatic entrance doors, level access throughout, two large public lifts to all floors, fully accessible toilets on every floor including a changing places room, dual height reception pods, height adjustable computer desks, dedicated library services and computers for visual impaired people, hearing loops at every reception pod and in every meeting room, colour coded signage and colour coded areas for different subject areas, friendly well trained staff available to help and advise.
