Venue Description
NorthLink Ferries offer fast and frequent sailings to the Orkney and Shetland Islands from Mainland Scotland. MV Hrossey is one of two ships that sail overnight between Aberdeen and Lerwick in Shetland, stopping off at Hatston, Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands.
Accessibility
MV Hrossey was built with accessibility in mind. There are three decks which are used by passengers; deck 5 (reception and cabins) and deck 6 (bars, restaurant, seating, shop, cinema, children's play area and Magnus' Lounge) and the car deck. All three decks are served with a lift and each deck is level. Passengers boarding with vehicles can request to park close to the lift. Passengers boarding by the walkway will find it wheelchair-friendly, with a lift leading from the ground floor to the first floor. The walkway is 100m long and provides level access to the ferry.
