The Museum is housed in Taunton’s 12th century castle. It is within the picturesque Castle Green area of Taunton town centre. Our postcode is TA1 4AA. We are 10 minutes from Junction 25 of the M5, 15 minutes walk from Taunton Railway Station and just 50 metres from Taunton Bus Station. The nearest car parks are Tangier and the Crescent.
Parking
Due to our location on Castle Green, there is no on-site parking except for one allocated disabled space, which can be booked by calling us 01823 255088. It is possible to drop off disabled passengers outside the Museum. Please contact us if you require assistance in accessing the Museum.
