Getting Here

The nearest bus stop is in Green Street outside the Museum (100m). Alternatively there are bus stops in Oxford Street (250m) and access to the Museum from there is via a right turn into the subway under the road junction between the A456 and A451 and then walk along Green Street until the first set of traffic lights and turn left. Access to the Museum of Carpet from Kidderminster Railway Station (1/4 mile away) involves following the road Station Approach out of the station up to Comberton Hill (A448).  Turn left onto Comberton Hill (going downhill) to the bottom of the hill.  Go under the subway bearing left and this will bring you out on Green Street.  Follow the road with the Museum on the left-hand side until the first set of traffic lights and turn left for the main entrance. There are many taxi companies that serve Kidderminster such as Holland Taxis, Regency Taxis and GB Taxis.

Parking

There are two car parks nearby: a Morrisons car park next to the Museum with a time limit of 2.5 hours (with disabled parking bays); and a pay and display car park across the road opposite the Museum. Access from the Morrisons car park to the Museum is via the side of the Supermarket and through its secondary entrance. Access from the pay and display car park is via traffic lights on Green Street. Both car parks are within 100-150m of the Museum's main entrance which is via Morrisons secondary entrance.
