Overview
I would have given 5 points except for the fact that there is not room inside just one of the cafes for a mob scooter. Although in good weather you can sit outside.
Transport & Parking
There are disabled spaces near to the visitor centre and also directly outside the garden centre.
Access
Stables tearoom is accessible with a wheelchair but a mobility scooter would need to be left outside the door. There is a central courtyard where you can sit at the picnic benches, plenty of room for chairs/scooters. The Theatre, Cinema, Bike shop are all accessible and best of you can borrow a mobility scooter and go for a 2 mile ride right round the park.
Toilets
There are disabled toilets in the gents, in the ladies and specially designated one in the courtyard. Room to also have a carer with you if required.
Staff
The staff are extremely helpful and will do whatever they can to help you. If you phone and ask, they will bring the mobility scooter right up to your car door in the car park!
Anything else you wish to tell us?
They have 2 mobility scooters and one duet bicycle. It is best to phone and book if you want to borrow one. This is a beautiful park and it is a great feeling of freedom to just get out and about in it under your own steam.
