Overview
If mobility is an issue then you'll need to book in advance a tramper via Countryside Mobility.
Transport & Parking
There is a separate area for blue badge disabled parking. This area is not monitored though and is open to abuse. Whilst at the park I witnessed 3 non-blue badge holders parking in these spaces. This really lets down a very good provision for the disabled.
Access
The website suggests that the whole park is wheelchair accessible, but it definitely isn't. Your everyday wheelchair (or RGK/Quickie) is not suitable unless it is fitted with off-road tyres and heavy duty castors. You will also need exceptional upper body strength! My advice is to book in advance a tramper via Countryside Mobility.
Toilets
Men's and Women's toilets have baby changing in them! Disabled toilet is huge and provides excellent manoeuvrability, but it does not require a RADAR key to access and it too has baby changing facilities. This means it is potentially open to abuse, it should also be noted that there is only a single disabled toilet at this main block. The toilet wasn't dirty as such, but it did need a good freshen up (this was at 10.15 am).
Staff
Approachable, professional and polite. Needed reminding that they could talk to me about my requirements rather than go through my Wife!
