At Moors Valley there is something for everyone whether you want to explore the miles of well signed paths in the peaceful forest, relax with some fishing on the lake, experience a ride on an authentic narrow-gauge steam train, or even take part in more adventurous activities like ‘Go Ape’ on a high wire forest adventure swinging through the tree tops.Accessibility
Two Countryside Mobility all-terrain 'Tramper' mobility scooters are available to hire at Moors Valley for free from 9.30am until 4.30pm (later in the summer). Visitors must first be members of the Countryside Mobility Scheme (£10 year membership or £2.50 temporary 2 week membership) www.moors-valley.co.uk/visitor-information/countryside-mobility-scheme/ The friendly staff at the Information Point in the Visitor Centre are happy to help advise you on the best routes available to suit your needs to make the most of your visit. The footpaths between the Visitor Centre and car park are tarmac and so are fairly smooth however there are some short sections where the gradient is 10% or more. Toilets
Visitor Centre toilets include: Changing Places toilet with ceiling track hoist (BHM hoist) and height adjustable changing bench. Centrally placed toilet with space either side for carers. RADAR key available to borrow from the Information Point in the Visitor Centre Ambulant Disabled toilet with hand rails Large family toilet with baby changing facilities and hand rails

Assistance dog facilities
Assistance dog exercise facilities
Dogs must be on leads around the Visitor Centre and the Play Trail but can be exercised off the lead in the other Forest areas.
Other assistance dog facilities
Water bowls provided at the front and rear of the Visitor Centre and in the dog park outside the play areas. Dogs, including assistance dogs are welcome at the Information Point and in the exhibition area. At the rear of the Visitor Centre there is a patio area for the restaurant which can be accessed via a slope. Wheelchair accessible picnic tables are provided.
