By Tram: Tram 55 runs from William Street in the city centre every day, stopping directly outside Melbourne Zoo. By Train: Trains run from Flinders Street Station on the Upfield line every day, stopping at Melbourne Zoo’s own Royal Park Station. By Bus: Bus route 505 from Moonee Ponds to Melbourne University stops outside Melbourne Zoo.
Parking
There are six accessible parking bays near the main entrance of Melbourne Zoo. Seven accessible parking bays are located near the Rail Gate entrance. There is a bus drop-off point at the main gate and all-day bus parking on the northern side of the Zoo (except school and public holidays, where it is open to all vehicles).
