Venue Description

Manaros is a luxury, modern house purpose built to be used by people with limited mobility. It is situated in seaside Aberdaron at the tip of the scenic Lleyn peninsula. It has 4 bedrooms, all en suite, and 2 wheelchair accessible bathrooms. It has many accessible features including use of a Tramper all-terrain buggy.

Accessibility

There is no significant step or sill on internal or external doors that prevent access. Main external doors are double doors min 1.8 metres overall. All bedroom and escape doors are 820mm wide. All corridors are 1.2 metres wide, well lit and tiled in a way that will help the poorly sighted. All bedrooms have laminate floor covering. Bedroom en-suites have Marley non-slip safety flooring. Two shower rooms/WC equipped for wheelchair users. Manaros is located on a quiet lane in Aberdaron. We have an electric “Tramper” all terrain buggy which can give access to the village and beach.

Toilets

There are two shower rooms/WC which are specially equipped for wheelchair users - Bedroom 1 and the communal Disabled Shower/WC/wash room off the hall. Both are designed to Part M of the Building Regulations. Grab rails and lever taps have been fitted.
