Magdalen is a working farm with diverse landscapes, hand-reared animals and purpose-built residential centre provides the perfect environment to connect with nature and learn from sustainable living. We offer school day-trips and residential education programmes for primary and secondary schools and care farming experiences for children and adults with learning disabilities and/or challenging social backgrounds. And every aspect is delivered with expertise by a team who love what they do. Our 132 acres of tranquil organic countryside are found alongside the banks of the River Axe where Dorset, Somerset and Devon meet. Breathe in the air and experience the centre - Magdalen has the very best in accessible surroundings and facilities.
Accessibility
The centre and farmhouse have a variety of easy access doorways and ramps with over 1km of pathways accessible around the farm. Our staff have a variety of skills and knowledge base about working with people with learning difficulties or disabilities. All staff have completed Autism training and those working directly with groups are Level 3 First Aid trained.
