Living Life - Loving Life - Living Golf ! Come and Join Us - Let's Play - Living Golf delivers healthy lifestyles exercises and golf programmes on both, golf driving ranges and golf courses in Morayshire. The programmes are open to everyone, including vulnerable people of all ages, golfers and non-golfers with physical and mental challenges such as learning disabilities, depression, anxiety & stress disorders, dementia & Alzheimers or any other circumstances which make it more difficult to socialise and exercise. The Living Golf programme started in 2009. It is well developed and successful. Golf is the only sport where everyone is equal due to the handicap system. Champions play together with beginners. In Living Golf everyone is accepted for who they are, independent of skills & ability. Living Golf supports people to flourish, it promotes friendship, safety, fairness, mutual respect, and helping each other and laughter. It is an ideal tool to integrate people with disabilities into feeling worthwhile and becoming part of a community. Our goals: *Getting people outside in fresh air and enjoying the scenery in and around our various golf course venues *Bringing people together from all backgrounds and abilities *Providing a safe space for socialising and making new friends *Reducing anxiety & stress, increasing relaxation and enjoyment *Creating a platform for self-expression and an awareness of opportunities *Improving sense of rhythm, concentration & focus with fun laughter *Improving self-esteem and self-confidence *Healthier life through improved posture, breathing, nutrition & hydration *Improving left & right brain integration *Providing opportunities to meet local people with similar challenges and passions and play golf together in teams - From "Disability" to "Thisability"

Accessibility

Living Golf invites disabled visitors to join their outdoor programmes. We conduct all programmes on suitable local golf courses such as Covesea Golf Links outside Lossiemouth, see www.covesealinks.com. Wheel chair users require wide wheels to move on lawn conditions. We are also currently fundraising for a paragolfer wheelchair.

Staff

Franz & Amanda of Living Golf have extensive experience in taking physically and mentally disabled people to the golf course. Both offer a physically and emotionally safe environment for all disabled people. We only play golf over short distances allowing all abilities to participate. Equipment is provided by Living Golf. The programmes are fun & inspiring.
