Venue Description
Little Angel Theatre is a home for puppetry. Since its doors first opened in 1961 the theatre has been dedicated to creating and sharing inspiring stories. Puppetry is at the heart of this innovative theatre, from igniting the imaginations of the youngest minds to equipping tomorrow’s puppeteers with the tools they need to succeed. As well as an internationally recognised theatre with productions touring throughout the UK and across the globe, Little Angel Theatre also has its roots in Islington, and works with its local, diverse community to break down barriers to arts engagement so all can benefit and enjoy this remarkable art form.

Accessible Performances
For each in-house production at the studios, one performance is scheduled as a Relaxed Performance. Relaxed Performances are advertised in our season brochure and on our website. Relaxed Performances are provided for people who would benefit from a more relaxed environment, or are uncomfortable with sudden lighting changes or loud noises, including those with an Autistic Spectrum Condition, sensory or communication needs or a learning disability. During these performances we have fewer people in the audience and may adapt the show to lower the sound levels and keep the lighting at a higher level so that you are not sitting in darkness. We want to ensure that our tickets for Relaxed Performances are kept for those who need them, so they are not available to book online. To book tickets for a Relaxed Performance please call the Box Office on 020 7226 1787. If you would like more information about our Relaxed Performances, or would like to receive regular updates about when they are scheduled, please email education@littleangeltheatre.com
