Venue Description
Levens Hall is an atmospheric and fascinating Elizabethan mansion, home to the Bagot family. The Hall contains oak panelling, period furniture, Cordova leather wall coverings, paintings, the earliest English patchwork and other beautiful objects of the highest standard. The famous topiary garden laid out from 1694 is the oldest in the world and the cut yew trees, together with herbaceous borders, massive beech hedges, a pond surrounded by pleached limes, nuttery and vegetable garden provide year round interest. Try our home-made food in the Bellingham Buttery and visit our Potting Shed shop.
