Set in the beautiful East Lothian countryside, Leuchie House is a unique place. We specialise in offering respite breaks for people with long term conditions (including multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, motor neurone disease, Huntington’s, cerebral palsy, and the effects of stroke and spinal injuries), with tailored care, fun activities and outings, and home-made food in a beautiful country house. Because we’re specialists at what we do, you can be confident you’ll receive expert, personalised care 24 hours a day.
Accessibility
Leuchie House is fully accessible for disabled visitors. The main entrance is located directly off the car park, is step free and has automatic doors. The entrance leads in to the ground floor reception area which offers plenty of space for wheelchairs and has seating available for vistors.

Toilets
All guest bathrooms, shower rooms and toilets are fully accessible and have grab rails. Bathrooms have non-slip floors. There are overhead tracking hoists in the downstairs and first floor bathrooms. Mobile hoists are available for all other bathrooms. There is a SAM turner and a stand aid on each floor.
