Venue Description

Lee Valley Park Farms in Waltham Abbey, Essex are just the best kind of fun when it comes to a great value family day out.There are cuddly sheep, giant rabbits, rare breed pigs, long-necked llamas and a loveable meerkat family to meet.You can hit the heights on the giant bouncy pillow, scale the Spider Tower or whizz down the slopes on our fantastic toboggan run. The lttle ones love riding on the combine harvester in Piglet’s Paradise.Then take a short trip on a tractor trailer to our working dairy farm, where you’ll meet the cows and learn all about life on a real farm.

Accessibility

There is a ramp for easy access to the entrance of Lee Valley Park Farms. The paths throughout the farm have varying easy and moderate slopes in places and vary between tarmac, concrete, rubber matting and grassed areas.

Toilets

No key is required for the accessible toilet. The width of the accessible toilet door is 90cm (2ft 11in). The dimensions of the accessible toilet are 240cm x 280cm (7ft 10in x 9ft 2in). There are wall mounted grab rails on both sides of the toilet.

Staff

Staff do receive disability awareness / equality training and are Text Relay aware. Documents can be requested in Braille and in large print.
