Venue Description

Award winning 5* Gold self catering cottages in South East Cornwall set in a 25 acre private estate. Heather Barn (sleeps 4, both bedrooms ensuite) is fully accessible and has been specially designed for wheelchair users, and has a National Accessible Scheme grading of M3. Level access throughout, plenty of parking, fully accessible bathroom (level entry shower, drop down rails and grab rails).

Accessibility

Heather Barn is level access throughout, with level access from the car park, which is next to the cottage (plenty of space for 2 cars). The main entrance has double doors (each 850mm). The reception is open plan, with lowered worktops. All doors are 850mm wide, and turning circles in the accessible bedroom and bathroom are minimum 1200-1500mm. The ensuite bathroom has drop down arms by the toilet and shower, as well as grab rails. The shower has a drop down seat, and there is clear access under the sink (heights of all sanitaryware conform to National Accessible Scheme M3 requirements).
