Overview
What a fantastic place!! Level access throughout with cobble stone flooring. The accessible toilet is slightly awkward to get into as there is a tight corner to negotiate, to make it easier the door has a button to open the door automatically. A relatively small museum tucked just off horse guard parade it has so much to offer. Plenty of interesting things to see, and for the children there was uniform jackets they could try on. There was a large window panel where you can see directly into the stables with the stunning horses and if you time it right you can see the changing of the guard.
Transport & Parking
We are unable to review transport as we got there by foot.
Access
Access was level throughout although the flooring slightly uneven with cobblestones as it is part of old stables.
Toilets
Access to the loo is up a small ramp and has a slightly tight corner to negotiate. The door is opened automatically pressing a button. Once inside, there is a good amount of space.
Staff
The staff were fantastic. So friendly and very knowledgeable and passionate about the exhibits. A special mention must also go to the volunteer staff. The two ladies we encountered were so helpful and very friendly.
