Since HOME opened in 2015, over four million of you have visited us, to see thrilling theatre and dance shows, experience great independent films from across the world, dive into the new art in our galleries, relax in our café and browse our bookshop. HOME is fully accessible with wheelchair access to the main entrance and automatic entrance doors. There is lift access to all levels of the building and accessible toilets on each floor. We have accessible, gender natural, same sex, baby changing and changing places facilities. Each cinema screen and theatre has wheelchair spaces. There is a portable induction loop system at the Box Office. The cinemas have induction loops. We regularly programme audio described performances. We provide captioned screenings of films and theatre performances. We programme regular BSL interpreted events and performances. We host a BSL lead (no spoken English) tour of the gallery throughout the year. Seating sizes are listed under the Access Information section of the website.

Accessible Performances
HOME regularly programmes caption subtitled, BSL interpreted and audio described theatre performances and events. Many films screened in the cinemas are caption subtitled and audio described. HOME has a regular series of relaxed screenings and theatre performances. Essential companion tickets are available free of charge. Details of the programme are listed on the website.
Toilets
Accessible toilets are located on each floor and have step-free access. Only some of our accessible facilities require a RADAR key some are available without this. For access to the changing places please speak to a member of our Front of House team.

Assistance dogs are welcomed at HOME. If you would like to visit the theatre, please contact us to organise your visit on 0161 200 1500 or email access@homemcr.org. Guidelines for bringing animals onsite to HOME: Animals must be kept on a lead at all times Animals are not allowed to sit on the furniture Owners are solely responsible for all clean up in and outside the building Owners will not bring into the building any dog/animal that has not been fully house trained Owners will immediately clean up any accidents or messes using appropriate clean-up and disinfectant measures, and must keep a supply of bags for the disposal of dog waste Owners will not bring into the building an animal that is ill or behaving abnormally, and will remove the animal from the premises if it becomes ill while at HOME Owners will not bring any animals into the building that have previously bitten or have been/are being aggressive, destructive or excessively vocal It is the owners responsibility to check the HOME website for specific event content such as flashing lights and loud noises. HOME accepts no liability for any injury or damage caused by animals brought on site Failure to comply with these guidelines will result in the owners being asked to remove their animals from the premises. * Emotional support animals (ESAs) are pets that are required for a person’s ongoing mental health treatment or for their hidden disability by a licensed therapist, psychologist, doctor (GP) or any licensed medical professional.
