The Highland Museum of Childhood is located within the Old Victorian Railway Station in Strathpeffer. The museum tells the stories of a Highland childhood and displays objects relating to childhood from across the decades - there's something for everyone! The now disused Old Station is surrounded by beautiful gardens with a picnic area and accessible walking paths nearby. There is a coffee shop on the Station platform, as well as the museum with gift shop, another fair trade gift shop and a beauty salon. There are also toilets and free WiFi available to customers of any of the Old Station businesses (fully accessible toilets are available on request).
