Overview
Fantastic, inclusive venue in the centre of Hackney. Supportive, informed staff who make everyone feel 100% welcome. Advance run a weekly art workshop at the museum attended by many local people with learning disabilities and autism. Anyone is free to join in the fun, and many local residents drop in to the Wednesday-afternoon sessions. Our customers have made many friends here and love being in such a wonderful building full of local history, in the heart of the community.

Highly recommended! A place where everyone gets a warm welcome and fascinating insights into local history. Permanent displays and temporary exhibitions provide context and connect audiences to the culture and personal stories of the many different people living in Hackney.
