Greenhills library is located within Greenhills Shopping Centre in East Kilbride.

Accessibility

There is street level access, with ramps not required. The external doors are not automatic, though there is a doorbell and phone number available for assistant; the inside doors are automatic. The main library is on the ground floor of the building, with lift access to the first floor which contains rooms available for events. The library has spoken word and large print materials, and an Active IT area. The library hosts a variety of groups and classes for both adults and children, including Bookbug sessions; information on these sessions can be found by contacting the library. The library also has free Wifi access.

Toilets

Greenhills library does not have a public toilet; there is a disabled access toilet available in the adjacent community hall, but opening hours vary. Libraries across South Lanarkshire are part of Period Positive and have free sanitary products available for any visitors

Staff

All current staff in Greenhills library have completed dementia awareness training, as well as trauma awareness training.
