Venue Description

Green Door is a volunteer led organisation which helps getting people using green spaces around Stoke on Trent with activities and social events. We have a variety of accessible cycles available for hire, including companion bikes, handcycles, a velo for wheelchair users, cycle with bucket seat, Carers go free when they are needed to accompany a paying guest. New for 2019: We have specially adapted canoes and kayaks, and will run paddlesport sessions in Tunstall and Longton Parks from Summer 2019.

Accessibility

There is ramp access from the car parks to the building doors both sides. Doors are wide enough. Path around the lake is smooth with very little sloping. The building is all on one level and has a wheelchair accessible bathroom. Harmful substances are locked away out of sight. We have wheelchairs and mobility scooters for hire also.

Toilets

The bathroom has step free access, door is wide enough for a wheelchair. There is a grab rail. There are easy turn locks or taps.
