Accessible Performances

We offer accessible performances on selected shows, The Grand Opera House York strives to offer equal access for all. Please advise us of your access requirements at the time of booking via 03330095399

Toilets

We have an accessible entrance on King Street which leads to an accessible toilet and also the stalls. The auditorium opens 30 minutes prior to the show so we do recommend all access patrons arrive for this time if they would like to go straight to seat.

We provide Audio Described performances, touch tours and BSL signed performances on selected shows.

We are happy to accept assistance dogs with prior notice. The closest green space is Tower Gardens which is a 10 minute walk along the river front from the venue.
