In Glasgow, an American businessman is tricked into shipping a valuable cargo on an old rundown puffer. How will he cope on the eventful journey to a remote Scottish island with the scheming crew? This 1954 Ealing Studios comedy is one of the finest by The Ladykillers director, Alexander MacKendrick.
