Venue Description

Glasgow Club Donald Dewar opened to the public on the 19th of March 2003. The facility is located in the North West Glasgow. The facility was built to maintain football provision in the Drumchapel area at a cost of £4.3 million. Funding was provided by Sport Scotland, The Lottery Fund and Glasgow City Council. Glasgow Club Donald Dewar facilities include 11-a-side 3G synthetic floodlit pitch, 11-a-side grass pitches, 7-a-side 3G synthetic floodlit pitches, 7-a-side grass pitch, Badminton courts, Cardio machines, Fitness studio, Free weights, Resistance machines, G-Cycle Studio and Sports hall.

Accessibility

The main doors open automatically and are double width. The door opening is 94cm (3ft 1in) wide. There is a second set of doors are also automatic and also double width. The door opening is 190cm (6ft 3in) wide.

The door is locked by a twist lock. The width of the accessible toilet door is 100cm (3ft 3in). The dimensions of the accessible toilet are 200cm x 250cm (6ft 7in x 8ft 2in). There is a lateral transfer space.
