Venue Description

A Sports Venue 3 floors and a lift to each level. The pool consists of a 33.3metre main pool which is divided by a movable bulkhead. The Main pool is a traditional rectangular 6 laned 25m pool, which has a depth of 1.27-1.65m. The Boom Pool consists of 12.5m wide and 7.2m long and has a depth of 0.9m to 1.23m, this pool has a manual Otter hoist. Teaching Pool with 3 walk in steps is 9.6m long and 11.8m wide with a depth of 0.7-1.0m this also has a stand alone Oxford Dipper Hoist. Communal changing village - 128 lockers, 46 cubicles and 10 communal showers. 2 accessible toilets and 1 accessible shower. Fully functional accessible state of the art accessible ...Health suite consists of 1 sauna and 1 steam room. 2nd Floor dance studio, maximum capacity 20. 3rd floor spectator gallery for 112 spectators which overlooks the main pool.

Both Ramp from side door and flat access through main entrance.. 3 floors with lift access to dance studio and spectators gallery

Toilets

1x toilet within the changing village. 1x toilet on the 1st floor. 1x changing area, toilet and seperate shower cubicle with screen within the changing village. 1x height adjustable adult-sized changing bench - a tracking ceiling hoist system with harness, and a mobile disabled chair which fits to poolside diper hoist. All areas are pool cord alarmed.

Staff

Glasgow Life can organise Cordia Linguistics team to be on hand if required for sign language and a translator, although this would have to be prior arranged through the venue.
