Overview
We have attended Glas-Denbury for several years and with young children. The festival always proves to be family friendly but also offers a brilliant time for the adults! This time we attended with our 4year old daughter who uses a walking frame and a wheelchair. She was able to use both with no issues, changing space and toilets had been considered. Incredible to see a local festival striving to be so inclusive and accessible. The care, effort and WILLINGNESS to develop this is really the most important thing. This great team are clearly not trying to tick a box they are aiming to be fully inclusive and accessible to ALL!
Transport & Parking
Drop off zone available and near by parking available
Access
This festival like most is in a field, the weather for us was glorious so the ground was solid to take the frame/wheelchair. Wet weather would make this a challenge. Potentially for more mature guests a lowered bar area and a raised or protected area to allow wheelchair uses to view the stage may be useful
Toilets
This space was accessible And clean on the occasion we used it.
Staff
What a team! Friendly, approachable and incredibly helpful.
