Entryway from street. We put a sign and a flag outside during Community Space opening hours to help people to find us. Dur to the style of the building we are only able to have a sign on the side of the building. Please note the step up to reach the main door, we have a portable ramp available for wheelchairs.
Main entry.
Entrance hall with small seating area which can be used by anyone who isn't able to come up to our main hot drink and chat service on the first floor.
Another angle of the entrance hall/foyer. To get to the first floor and access our main service, visitors are required to step up two steps to reach the stair lift to the next landing.
First set of main stairs and stair lift to the fist landing.
After a short, flat landing, the second set of stairs and stair lift to first floor can be seen here.
This is the first floor landing and entrance to the tea room where we host our tea and chat service.
Opposite the tea room, on the first floor landing, is the toilet.
The next set of stairs leads to the next landing, on the way to the second floor mezzanine, where we host group activities. Due to the age and style of the building and width of the stairs here we are unable to install a stair lift.
The next set of stairs leads to the second floor landing. There is a mezzanine level on this floor where we host group activities. Due to the age and style of the building and width of the stairs here we are unable to install a stair lift. Another set of stairs can be seen in the back of the image, this is the final set of stairs to the group activity room (mezzanine level). Again, we are unable to install a stair lift here.
