The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the largest arts festival in the world and the greatest platform for creative freedom on earth. Every year thousands of performers take to hundreds of stages all over Edinburgh to present shows for every taste. From big names in the world of entertainment to unknown artists looking to build their careers, the festival caters for everyone and includes theatre, comedy, dance, physical theatre, circus, cabaret, children's shows, musicals, opera, music, spoken word, exhibitions and events. Call in to the Fringe Box Office to book tickets or to the edfringe shop to buy Fringe merchandise and to find out more about this unique and exciting festival. You can also book tickets online or over the phone. The 2022 Edinburgh Fringe will run from 05 – 29 August 2022. The Fringe Society is the charity that underpins the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. It is the Society’s ambition for the Fringe be the most accessible arts festival in the world, where anyone who chooses to can take part, whether on the stage, backstage, or in the audience.Accessibility
The Fringe Shop is wheelchair accessible. One entrance is step free with a slight ramp, and a push pad door. Customers with access requirements can access all box office services from the Fringe Shop. The Fringe Box Office has wheelchair accessible at Old Assembly Close to the left of the Fringe Shop. Old Assembly Close is steep with uneven paving. The Box Office has an induction loop and an accessible counter.
