Venue Description
Farfield is a restored Victorian woollen mill in a quiet corner of Cumbria and in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Filled with artist studios, exhibitions, heritage displays, working looms, art, and craft for sale by local artists, plus tea and cake at the Tea Room, there is something for everyone.Accessibility
The main entrance to the Mill is accessed via a ramp. There is a lift to all levels and accessible facilities on each floor. Chairs are dotted around the Mill for little breaks and to take in the view. There are induction loops at reception, in our learning studios for workshop participants and at the Tea Room till.

Toilets
Accessible Toilets – There are accessible toilets on every floor with grab rails and easy turn taps. The toilets on level 2, 3 and 4 can be accessed with manual or powered wheel chairs.
Staff
We aim to be as accessible as possible. Venue staff welcome all visitors with a brief introduction to the Mill. During which they will explain where things are, give directions about how to get around the Mill and provide a leaflet with more information. This leaflet is available in large print.

Assistance Dogs – Assistance dogs are welcome at Farfield Mill, with all dogs welcome in our Tea Room. There is water for dogs available in the Tea Room. There is a path from the Mill towards the river, which is suitable for walking dogs on a lead.
