Venue Description

Exmouth Library has three meeting rooms available for hire. These accommodate two, eight and twelve people, and prices start at at £7.20 per hour. Two are accessible for people using wheelchairs but the upstairs room isn't. Exmouth Library is open five days a week and stocks Local Studies materials. There are 11 public access computers which are free for members to use for up to two hours per day, printing and copying facilities and free WiFi throughout the building. Accessibility

Our upstairs room in Exmouth Library is not accessible for wheelchair users as we have no lift. The two downstairs rooms - one community space and one 'pod' - are wheelchair accessible. Our toilets downstairs are not accessible for people using wheelchairs. However we are planning to turn them into a disabled access toilet in the near future. The Library has a ramp for access by wheelchair users. Staff are on hand to welcome and help. Some have been trained in offering extra support to those who are neurodiverse or who have Alzheimer's. Two of our meeting rooms are accessible for people using wheelchairs but the upstairs room isn't.

Toilets

Regrettably our toilets are not yet accessible by people using wheelchairs. However plans are underway to change them to wheelchair accessible in the near future.

Staff

Staff are on hand to help at all times. Some are trained in offering extra support to those who have hidden disabilities.
