Venue Description

Eureka! Science + Discovery is a fun, interactive day out on the Wirral, with free support and services for disabled children and their families. The whole site is designed to be accessible. With sensory bags available with different items to help support the experience of visitors with sensory needs. A chill out room for any visitors that need some time away from the (sometimes busy) attraction. Accessible Toilets across the site along with a Changing Places toilet. Ear defenders available to borrow from our Information Desk and staff who are fully trained, ready to assist when needed. We do not charge for essential carers. We also have multi-sensory exhibits along with induction loops at our admission tills, information desk and café, as well as throughout our galleries. We run ‘relaxed’ SENDays on various dates throughout the year for disabled visitors and their families.

Accessibility

Access at the main entrance to the attraction is completely level, we have a low-level counter at our admissions desk, and two lifts between floors. We also have emergency evacuation procedures for disabled visitors.
