Overview

Absolutely brilliant access for people with disabilities. This was the first match my little girl has been to, and (apart from the score) it was perfect!

Transport & Parking

We used Metrolink. Plenty of free spaces at the tram stop, and trams really accessible (but busy on a match day) There are accessible bays at the club, which I think you need to book first and a shuttle bus from car park. Lots of info on the club website or via the disabled supporters club.

Access

Brilliant. If you use the designated areas there are lifts which are big and clean and take you straight up to the concourse, a few doors to open on the way but stewards and Showsec staff helped. We didn't come across any steps or problems at all. Stadium is well lit, the floor surfaces are clean and even and there are plenty of clear signs. Access to seats was great, plenty of room and fantastic view. Wheelchair bays are in little groups around the ground, each one has a 'carers' seat next to it. View from block 202 is brilliant. People stand up at the start but then sit down and you can see the whole pitch and screens really well.

Toilets

There is a proper Changing Places toilet here :) Lots of standard accessible toilets here, and (for a football ground) very clean and tidy. Access via radar key - when we got there the stewards checked we had a key, and offered to lend us one if needed.

Staff

Absolutely brilliant! This really made the day for us. Everyone we spoke to was friendly, helpful and knew what they were doing. Two stewards welcomed us, told us their names and said if there was anything we needed to just ask.
