Venue Description

The Etihad Stadium is home to Manchester City Football Club. The Club prides itself on being inclusive and working with all its supporters and visitors whether it is for a football match, stadium tour, event or conference. We recognize that disabled supporters and visitors may need assistance to fully enjoy the experience at the Etihad Stadium and offer a variety of reasonable adjustments based on individual needs. We provide accessible toilets, a Super Riser in both the home and visiting supporter sections. There are over 250 wheelchair spaces for use on a matchday. There is lift access to all areas of the stadium for both matchday and non-matchday use including a lift within the City Store, along with on-site disabled parking. Induction loop equipment in the majority of customer contact points at the Etihad Stadium, including the Ticket Office and the main reception areas.

Accessibility

On a matchday there are 5 accessible entrances: D, H, M1, S and W doors, which are clearly sign posted. On a non- matchday the entrance is via the main reception which is a flat surface. The area around the stadium has level access and pavements have dropped kerbs and slab paving. The Ticket Office and reception areas have a lowered counter, an induction loop and are accessible for wheelchair users. All ambulant supporters are able to enjoy the game from any seat they choose. We ask all supporters to consider the height and rake of the Level 3 stands as they may not be suitable.

Accessible Performances

Complimentary headsets are provided upon request to enable supporters to listen to the audio match commentary. They can be ordered through the Club’s Access Team by calling 0161 444 1894 (option 1, option 1, option 1) or by emailing disabledtickets@mancity.com.

Toilets

Accessible toilets are available at various points throughout the stadium, with a Changing Places Facility in the South Stand. All public concourse toilets and the Changing Places Facility are fitted with RADAR keys. Every concourse washroom has one compartment (cubicle) that is suitable for ambulant supporters.

Staff

The Club has an Access Team consisting of a Disability Access Officer and Disability Access Adviser. Our future plans include holding more events which highlight our accessibility and to provide continuous training and development to our staff.

Any supporter wishing to attend the Etihad Stadium with an assistance dog must contact the Club’s Access Team on +44 (0)161 444 1894 (option 1, option 1, option 1) or contact us by emailing disabledtickets@mancity.com, so that we can ensure the appropriate match tickets (subject to availability) are allocated and adequate arrangements have been made.
