Venue Description
The Electric Palace is an independent community cinema in the heart of Hastings Old Town, East Sussex, UK. We are a not for profit 'Community Interest Company.' Our running costs rely on ticket sales and bar profits. Whilst five part-time staff do the work of programming, managing and marketing, a team of 30 dedicated volunteers host our events. The volunteers look after the audience and take an active part in bringing new events, new expertise and ideas to the cinema. Unfortunately the building is not accessible for wheelchairs. We have a hearing loop. Join us for regular Autism-friendly screenings (to which you can bring a trusted friend for free): https://www.electricpalacecinema.com/latest/relaxed Find out more about our Accessibility information, including a captioned video to show you what you can expect when you visit the cinema: https://www.electricpalacecinema.com/accessibility Unpaid carers go free when accompanying the person they care for on a paid ticket.
